Printing Methods

Digital

Digital printing is a modern printing method that allows quick, high quality prints where the ink lays flat on the card. This is an economical option that allows printing in full colour, black or white ink. The digital presses can feed a maximum paper weight of 300gsm card.

Letterpress

Letterpress printing is a traditional method where raised inked surfaces are pressed into paper creating a gorgeous tactile, impressionable effect. This method allows us to print onto luxuriously thick 450gsm or 600gsm cotton rag papers.

Foil

Foil printing applies a metallic foil to the paper using a combination of heat and pressure, creating a shiny, reflective finish with the same tactile impression seen in letterpress printing. Some of the most popular colours are gold, rose gold, silver or holographic foils.

Turnaround Times

Our timeframes

Our turn-around time on wedding orders vary depending on the amount of work required, how many stationery items you order, timely supply of wording/artwork feedback, and your chosen print method.

Letterpress and Foil takes longer than digital printed stationery, and is also more expensive, due to the plate making cost, set up time and print labour involved. We have a 2-3 day wait for printing plates alone.
